The Dementia Overview for Family and Friends online training provides information about dementia as a disease, how the disease affects more than just memory, the role of confusion, and communication skills.
This one-hour online training provides strategies and techniques useful for daily interaction with individuals living with dementia. Whether you are a seasoned dementia caregiver, family, or friend, the online training will provide a better understanding of dementia and the impact it has on the person with the disease.
The training is FREE but you must have a computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet connection and email address to attend. Registration ends on April 18.
