PATH to Pain Management Workshop – Sawyer

6 session group program for people living with health conditions that cause chronic pain, such as Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Migraines, Back problems, etc.  Topics include ways to manage pain and live a healthier and more productive life.  Caregivers are also welcome to attend. Group meets weekly on Wednesdays beginning April 3rd from 1:00 to 3:3 p.m. at the Victory Lutheran Church in Gwinn (Sawyer) There is NO cost to attend, however preregistration is required.  Workbooks are available to purchase for $20. Diabetes PATH Workshop – Iron Mountain

6 session group program designed to provide the skills and tools needed by adults living with diabetes to improve their health and manage their symptoms.  Spouses or other interested persons are welcome to attend.  Group meets weekly on Tuesday mornings from 10:00 – 12:30 p.m.  starting April 9th and running through May 14th. Meet in the Gathering Room located on the 1st floor of the Church (across from hall offices). There is NO cost to attend, however you must register.

Area Agency on Aging will be holding forums throughout the Upper Peninsula.  The purpose of these forums is to obtain input from older adults, caregivers, service providers, and the general public concerning the needs of older adults in the U.P.
