Sixteenth Annual U.P. 8 session group program that meets for 2 hours per session.  This class is for anyone who has fallen or has a few of falling.  Caregivers are welcome to attend. Class meets Tuesdays and Fridays starting October 16th through November 9th. Diabetes PATH Workshop-Sawyer

6 session group program for people living with diabetes.    Topics include meal planning, label reading,  blood sugar monitoring, exercise and much more.   Caregivers also welcome to attend.  Group will meet weekly on Wednesdays October 17th through November 21st and classes will be offered at Victory Lutheran Church in Sawyer.   There is no cost to attend.   A workbook that accompanies that program will be available to purchase for $20 or to borrow. REST (Respite, Education and Support Tools) – Negaunee

Creating Confident Caregivers – Escanaba

Creating Confident Caregivers is a program in select regions of Michigan for family caregivers of persons with dementia and/or memory loss.  Creating Confident Caregivers is a six-session workshop led by trained dementia care specialists.  This program provides participants with information, skills an attitudes to manage stress and increse their effectiveness as a caregiver. Class meets weekly on Tuesdays for six weeks starting on October 30th and running until December 4th.  Class meets from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  There is no cost to attend, however you must register!
