UPCAP is accepting applications for a full-time Community Resource Specialist
The 2-1-1 Information & Referral Specialist will provide comprehensive information and referral services to the 15 Counties of the Upper Peninsula. This will be a hybrid position, with the main office located in Escanaba.
The position requires:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years experience in the Information & Referral field or as a public call specialist
- Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Pursue Inform USA certification as a Community Resource Specialist
- Pass a criminal background check and have a valid driver’s license with proof of insurance
- Willingness to work some nights and weekends
