American Indian/Native American

  • The National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) is the oldest, largest and most representative American Indian and Alaska Native organization serving the broad interests of tribal governments and communities.  https://www.ncai.org/

 

  • National Indian Council on Aging, Inc. (NICOA). The mission of NICOA is to advocate for improved comprehensive health, social services and economic wellbeing for American Indian and Alaska Native elders.    https://www.nicoa.org/

 

  • The National Resource Center on Native American Aging (NRCNAA) is committed to identifying Native Elder health and social issues. Through education, training, and technical assistance, we assist in developing community-based solutions to improve the quality of life and delivery of related support services to the Native aging population.  https://www.nrcnaa.org/

 

  • Older Indians. The Office for American Indian, Alaskan Native, and Native Hawaiian Programs currently administers the Title VI program that was established in 1978 as part of the Older Americans Act.  https://olderindians.acl.gov/
