UPCAP is currently seeking a part-time (20 hours per week) individual who is interested in learning Homemaker Aide duties through our Senior Employment Program. This is a federally funded grant training program. Applicants must be 55 years of age or older and meet income and employment requirements.
Some of the duties of this position include but are not limited to:
- Vacuuming, dusting, mopping floors
- Dishes & laundry
- Change bed linens
- Cleaning bathrooms
- Grocery shopping & meal preparation
- Provide companionship
Applicants must have basic phone skills, good communication skills and the ability to interact well with the public. The host agencies are located in Delta County, MI. All applicants must have reliable transportation, be able to work a variety of shifts and pass a criminal background check.
