Administrative Assistant/Case Technician – Escanaba

UPCAP is accepting applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant/Case Technician at our Escanaba Office.  

The position will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Escanaba Care Management staff by performing ongoing entry and maintenance of data into the appropriate system
  • Bill processing and verification
  • Daily organization and operations of the Care Management office (assisting with phone calls, filing, chart set up, etc)

The position requires:

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma, Associates Degree in Human Services or Office Information Systems preferred
  • Two years experience working in a business office or medical office setting
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office products
  • Strong knowledge of databases and Internet communications
  • Must have the ability to work effectively with detailed and confidential information
  • Working knowledge of health-related service delivery systems and community resources
