Finance Manager

UPCAP is accepting applications for a full-time Finance Manager in Escanaba, MI. Requirements of this position:

  • A minimum of an associate degree in Accounting with two years of related work experience
  • At least 2 years experience in public or non-profit Accounting preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
  • Pass a criminal background check

Accounting responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports for internal review and external examinations conducted by independent audit firms
  • Track accounts receivable
  • Process vendor accounts payables
  • Prepare bank reconciliations
  • Prepare project budgets
  • Complete reporting requirements for multiple housing projects
