Program Coordinator – Food Assistance Program

UPCAP is accepting applications for a full-time Program Coordinator for our regional Food Assistance Program.  The Program Coordinator will need field experience and working knowledge of food procurement to assist with coordination of food distributions.

The position requires:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
  • Knowledge of local social service resources and food security issues
  • Experience working with low-income/poverty issues
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Programs
  • Travel across the UP required
  • Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
