Creating Confident Caregivers – Online

Creating Confident Caregivers is designed to assist individuals caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's Disease, dementia or memory loss.Creating Confident Caregivers is an evidence-based university tested program which provides caregivers with information and tools for managing daily life, behavior, resources and their own well-being. Two-hour online class sessions are held once a week on Wednesday for six weeks. The online class dates are July 28, August 4, 11, 18, 25, and September 1, 2021. An optional Webex (online platform) orientation is on Wednesday, July 21 at 2 pm EST. Registered participants will be contacted prior to orientation date.

If you can be on your feet for 10 minutes without increased pain, you can have success with Walk With Ease!Whether you need relief from arthritis pain or just want to be more active, the Arthritis Foundation's Walk With Ease can help. This is a self-guided walking program with six weeks of online class support to help you stay motivated and build confidence, while you learn to safely increase physical activity. Walk With Ease has been proven to increase balance, strength, and walking pace, reduce the pain and discomfort of arthritis, build confidence and improve overall health.

A six-week online workshop designed to help informal family caregivers better care for themselves while caring for a relative or friend.Powerful Tools for Caregivers was developed for the non-professional, informal caregiver. This program is designed to help caregivers take care of themselves while caring for a parent, spouse, or friend at home, in a nursing home, or across the country.
